WHAT WOULD JANE DO?
A Good Time Was Had By All

Friday, May 4 was Jane Jacobs’s birthday, and CNU NYC held its second Jane’s Walk over the weekend. CNU NYC Chair John Massengale led “What Would Jane Do – Jane Jacobs & New York City Street Design.” Approximately 50 people gathered in front of Saint Jane’s house on Hudson, walked some streets old and new in Greenwich Village, occupied Charles Street and declared it Shared Space, and finished at Jane’s local, the Whitehorse Tavern. A good time was had by all.

Thanks to Dave Moss, Nate Storring, and Zeke Mermell for the photos.
