He is the author of The Future of the Past: A Conservation Ethic for Architecture, Urbanism, and Historic Preservation.

Simeon Bankoff is the Executive Director of the Historic Districts Council. His work encompasses land use, zoning, affordable housing, and adaptive reuse, and, as a result, is at the forefront of New York City’s historic preservation movement.
Richard Cameron is a Principal at the design firm, Atelier & Co. Cameron is the co-founder of both the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art and The Beaux-Arts Atelier, an educational platform for practicing architecture as a fine art. In 2013 he received The Arthur Ross Board of Directors Honor Award from the ICA&A.
Roberta Washington is the Principal of Roberta Washington Architects, PC, and a former Landmarks Preservation Commissioner.
